The Marine
Dealer Visitation Program has been updated.
The new program will be titled Recreational Boating Safety
Visitation Program (RBSVP) and qualified visitors will be
designated as Program Visitors (PV). The scope of the
program will be expanded to any community or business
facility that is frequented by recreational boaters. With
this expansion the Program Manager deems it essential to
increase the number of Visitors.
The purpose
of the
Recreational Boating Safety Visitation Program is to promote
safe
boating for the recreational boating public through the aid
of the Marine Dealer, a primary contact with the
recreational boater.
And the business of the
Visitor in the Recreational Boating Safety Program is to be
the ambassador of the Coast Guard Auxiliary to other
businesses and organizations in the boating community. The
Visitor's mission is to encourage partnering marine dealers
and boating organizations to disseminate our informational
material, and to support the Coast Guard and the Coast Guard
Auxiliary’s ongoing programs.
If you are
a Marine Dealer or other business with ties to the boating
community and would like to receive information from
one of our Program Visitors, please contact our
Flotilla Program
Visitor Officer, with the name and address of the
business, a contact person, and a phone number (if
possible), and we will get in touch with you.
